The famous singer has announced her first concerts in Europe since 2016 expected for this summer.
Adele has announced, though her Instagram page, four exclusive shows in Munich, Germany, for next summer. Specifically, the performances will be on August 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2024.
The talented singer took a time to wrote something on the description of the post: “So a few months ago I got a call about a summer run of shows. I’ve been content as anything with my shows in London’s Hyde Park and my residency in Vegas, so I hadn’t had any other plans. However, I was too curious to not follow up and indulge in this idea – a one off, bespoke pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I want to put on? Ohh!? Pretty much slap bang in the middle of Europe? In Munich? That’s a bit random, but still fabulous! Right after the Euros? Come on England! With the Olympics next door? Go on Simone! And some of my favorite artists playing shows too? Why…YES!! I haven’t played in Europe since 2016! I couldn’t think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer and end this beautiful phase of my life and career with shows closer to home during such an exciting summer.”
As Adele explains in her statement, the singer returns to the European scene for the first time since 2016 and does so with a new, different and creative proposal. It is not the first concert in Europe as such, since the “Hello” singer has had several shows in London’s Hyde Park, but it is the first outside the Anglo-Saxon world.
Currently, the singer of “All I ask” is performing the final part of her residency in Las Vegas, “Weekends With Adele”. This was his first concert residency, which consists of one hundred nightly shows on Fridays and Saturdays. It started on November 18, 2022, and will end on June 15, 2024. Adele started it in 2022 but continued to renew her contract to sing on that site, which made her fall in love with live music again, as she announced months ago on her social networks.
Critics have praised the residency as an “exquisite balance of personal storytelling and Las Vegas glitz,” according to the Los Angeles Times, while Billboard describes it as “absolutely spectacular and breathless.”
In addition, the creator of albums like “19” or “21” will have a stadium built specifically for the occasion with a capacity of 80,000 spectators per night. Although the stadium is not yet built, images have been published of what it is expected to look like in the near future.
Adele wants to move the feeling of her residency to Munich, being the biggest concert in the country where she can interact with her fans, surprise them with special guests, shook the audience with incomparable stage scenes and, mostly, reach all of their emotions with the tone of her voice.
If you click on her website, opened exclusively for this occasion, we can see that:
- Registration is open now until Monday, 5th February at 6pm CET.

Adele is back in Europe but, by the moment, we don’t know if she will be releasing anything new since then. Her last album, “30”, came out in 2021, and maybe it’s time for new music from the star.
