Projects of flying car has been taken more and more usual in the last decades. One of those is the project that has been designed by AeroMobil that was presented some years ago and was shown in the Paris Air Show in 2017. Since that moment the company has said some information about this flying car.
In the web, the company defines this vehicle as “the evolution of the supercar” and it is “inspired by the mythical winged horse Pegasus, the AeroMobil is the high-end vehicle species equally at home on the road or in the sky – the flying car”. The brand secured too that this is “the culmination of leading-edge automotive and aerospace design and engineering, advanced materials, luxury features, and impeccable styling, the AeroMobil does what no supercar or private jet can do”.
Some information given from the company says that in road mode it can achieve a maximum speed of 160 km/h, and can pass from 0 to 100 km/h in only 10 seconds. In flight mode, it can go over 750 kilometres with a fuel tank. On its website the company secures “It can seamlessly transform from car to aircraft – from driving to flying – in under three minutes”, so passing from road to flight mode is too easy and quick.
Some years ago the company said that it will available to get of this AeroMobil in 2020, but at this moment, it is still not for sale and the company has not revealed more information about it. In spite of this, the project looks so serious so it is possible that we get more information about this project in the next months. The brand has revealed the price of this flying car when it is on the market, the AeroMobil will have a price of $1.6 million, so it will be expensive.
