The last convention in San Diego, the famous Comic Con, has brought with it a lot of news, including one that has gone ahead thanks to the commitment of the fans. We are referring to the long-awaited Teen Wolf movie.
Ten years after the beginning of the series, the actors met in an online life that they transmitted on YouTube in which they talked about the series, the memories they had taken from the set (Dylan O’Bryan took Styles‘ jeep, for example) and also told that nowadays most of them still get along very well. Something that can be corroborated by the social networks where they congratulate each other’s birthdays without fail or by the amount of photos and videos they share together when they see each other, which is quite more often than it seems.
This real-life pack atmosphere, slightly similar to what fans were used to seeing in the MTV series, soon led to calls for a reunion not of the actors but of the characters, but due to copyright issues, the actors themselves encouraged fans to demonstrate on social media how much they wanted to see Scott’s pack in action again. And months later filming has finished and we are waiting for the official release date for Paramount Plus.
Recently the official teaser for the film has been revealed. Jeff Davis, writer and executive producer of the series and the movie, also confessed that we will soon have a new series on Paramount Plus, Wolf Pack, so we can affirm that werewolves are back on TV, and from none other than the genius who created Teen Wolf. As for the movie, we know that it will be available exclusively on the Paramount Plus platform in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Latin America and all territories where this service is available.
We also have details about what may happen in the film. We know that it will be in Beacon Hills, the city of the protagonists, where a not so unknown evil has returned to gather werewolves, werecoyotes, banshees, hellhounds and many more creatures of the night that will return to help our true alpha to overcome the situation once again. What no one expected was the return of a ghost from the past, a certain hunter who in theory should be dead and we do not know for sure if she will play the role of ally or enemy. And we also have a very interesting new character, Eli Hale (Vince Mattis), Dereck’s son of whom there have been a thousand speculations about who his mother might be.
The biggest question of all is where is Styles? Because we know that Dylan O’Bryan has confirmed that he would not participate in the film, a big disappointment for fans yes, but even if we do not see the actor maybe they will mention his character, as happened in the last season of the series whose absence was inevitable to be filming Maze Runner.
Be that as it may, Teen Wolf is back and all of us fans can’t wait to see the movie to see our favorite pack back in action.
