Jeff Bezos said in 2013 that sooner rather than later will be drones flying everywhere, and this safety camera is the evidence that Jeff Bezos is trying to get it real. This drone, that includes a camera, is called Ring Always Home Cam, and is a safety camera that moves all around the house keeping an eye on the house while the owner is out.
This is how the brand presented this drone on its Twitter account:
Ever get a Ring Alarm alert and want to immediately see what's happening? The Ring Always Home Cam is here to help. This compact, lightweight, autonomously flying indoor camera gives even greater visibility when you’re not home. Learn more: https://t.co/A62pZUuYDa [US Only] pic.twitter.com/13cXKtEeSs

Ring, the brand in charge of the creation of this gadget, said that this object could be used to verify if the heater was on or the window was open. They secured that the object is filming only when it is flying, and it will emit a buzz when it is filming, because they have said that the privacy is the most important thing.
The executive of the Amazon’s devices, Dave Limp, said that they have made an important investment in the safety cameras. He said that this product was possible thanks to the advances in technology, and the interest of the buyers in the safety cameras, and secured to that “the sensors have become so good, so it could work inside of a drone in a safety way”. The brand has said that this object solves the problem of the blind spots that the traditional safety cameras have, so they are more safety than the classic cameras.
At the moment, this gadget can be only bought in United States, and is priced in 249$. Amazon is waiting to see how it works until launching it in other parts of the world. We have to keep in mind that this gadget has not been approved by the Federal Commission of Communications, and maybe it will never be, as it is said in the Ring’s blog, so we must wait to see how this object works, and if it will be launched in other parts of the world.
