Last summer Angel Olsen released “Big Time”, a critically acclaimed LP that shined trough soft sounds and brave lyrics about falling in love and dealing with grief. This carefully assembled collection of songs was treasured by listeners from all over the world since its release. Future works from the artist were viewed with great excitement and, almost one year after, the time has finally come.
“Nothing’s Free”, “Forever Means”, “Time Bandits” and “Holding On” are the song titles that complete “Forever Means”, her latest publication. Olsen’s EP continues to explore the purity and rawness of her previous record and points towards new musical horizons. The tracks were mixed by Jonathan Wilson, a producer that has also worked with Father John Misty and Conor Oberst among many others.
She will be touring Europe this summer and has recently announced a new set of North American tour dates that will start in October with the support of acts such as King Tuff, Kara Jackson, Joanna Sternberg, Allegra Krieger, Sluice, Led to Sea and Nona Invie. These live performances promise to warm the lucky hearts of those who get the chance to see and feel the beautifully haunting atmospheres that Angel Olsen manages to deliver every time.
