The signer becomes an Instagram trend due to a pink mini-dress

French clothing brand Jacquemus has become a phenomenon on Instagram due to its last post: a short preview to its Spring/summer 2022 campaign, starring Bad Bunny. With the tittle “Le splash”, the collection wouldn’t have been as commented if it hadn’t been for the singer’s daring attitude wearing on clothing for both men and women, breaking all kinds of dress codes.

The pictures, taken by photographer Tom Knelles and styled by Zoey Radford, overflowed from the very beginning, freshness and an energetic power in tribute to his famous video clip “Yo perreo sola“, as well as the aesthetic of the campaign. His irreverence towards gender on fashion is the icing on the cake of the new movement fashion industry is experiencing: a new perspective on what’s for men and what’s for women.

One of the most remarkable looks was the one where the singer appears poolside in a pink linen mini-dress, with white socks and blue mules. Making the preview even better, photos where taking when jet-skiing in just a magenta inflatable waistcoat and when riding a bike in a grey suit adorned with oversized glass beads, for example. As a whole, the result was a campaign full of joy, energy and sensibility (meaning it is very close to the message of erase dressing codes and start loving fashion not depending of what gender you are).
