Demna Gvasalia, the current creative director of Balenciaga, has been collaborating with Apple Music in a series of playlist curation where the brand invite an artist (or not so much) to create a selection of music that align Demna’s the vibes and aesthetic with the person in question. It also feature a selection of merchandising under the umbrella of the fashion firm, providing the essentials for costumers who wants to live supporting artists but no from collaborations with fast fashion retailers.

In this case, he chose Acid Arab as the group that the brand wants to represent in tis occasion. They are a group of DJs who are worldly known for their electronic sound. In the playlist created with Apple Music it translates all the inspirations and the roots of the group.

For the design of the merchandising, Demna just took the logo of Acid Arab and added some arabic words in some parts of the garments. They are comfortable pieces in a green neon color to do your day-to-day routine with clothes that helps you to get in a good mood. The capsule collection is based in four garments: a zip-up hoodie oversized, a sweatshirt regular fit, an inside out long sleeves t-shirt large fit and a pair of stretch knee pants. We are excited to see what is to come from this series, who will be the next featured artist?
