Last Thursday, December 15, a performance by American artist Billie Eilish took place at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
The artist ends the year 2022 with three different performances at the venue. That night, however, a collaboration with FOO FIGHTERS artist Dave Grohl took place.
The duo acoustically performed the guest band’s classic “My Hero” in honor of Taylor Hawkins, the late drummer from the same band who passed away in March.
In addition, the artist made an appearance on stage wearing a wide T-shirt with the face of the deceased at the Grammys, advancing the importance of what happened, a gesture that the members of the group mentioned that got “the room filled with tears of love and gratitude”. The fact is that the young woman had always admired the drummer, and the news of his death in Colombia at the age of only 50 marked her.
With this, after finishing the simple and emotional performance that belonged to the end of the “Happier Than Ever Tour”, Dave highlighted a phrase, and that is that “Rock and roll is not dead! Rock and roll is not even close to dying!“.
