The party still continuous on Boston. Boston Celtics couldn´t find an opposing against a poor Timberwolves. They destroyed them with a 134-112, a true reflection of what we saw on the pitch during the match. The TD Garden was totally full of fans with really good atmosphere. From the second quarter until the end of the match, the local team was with a comfortable advantage against an away team that never showed a truly danger of a possible comeback. In this way, the guys of Ime Udoka have completed really good games. They won the last six matches consecutively. Also, they have a streak of 11 out 12 games win. This good results have taken the team to the first position of the Eastern Conference.
The truth is that this process was tough and long. At the start of the season and on the first months of competition, the team was fighting for secure a place on the Play-in. Nowadays they are on the top of the classification and offering a very colourful game to their fans of Celtics and basketball. They don´t just win their opponents. They destroy them and pass over them with amazing ease.
About the match, the two featured players of the night were Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown (with 34 and 31 points respectively). They were in charge of win the match on the fast track. Boston came to half-time with 23 of advantage (72-49). So in the second half Boston was limited to enjoy the rest of the game. With dunks, alley oops and triples they delighted the people at TD Garden. There was no chance for a Wolves that tried to fight face to face against this incredible Celtic on the first quarter. After that, they holed the line and did the best they could.
One of the best players of the local team, Jayson Tatum, said this on the post-game: “It was a true journey. We had to fin our identity as a team and leave some teammates to incorporate others. We had to fight to be here, but it was fun. There were some difficult moments, but definitely that has made us better“.
On the other hand, Timberwolves have gotten involved in troubles. They are now out of Playoffs. So they will have to fight to a place before the season is over.
