The supergroup formed in 2018 by Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker has published their first album via Interscope Records accompanied by a movie that visually represents the lyrics of the project’s first three singles

Boygenius is definitely one of the most exciting bands right now. Each member has a unique sensitivity that combines perfectly well altogether. Beautiful melodies, gloomy songwriting and melancholic chord progressions unite to create a very special outcome.

Kristen Stewart worked with the band to create “the film”, an audiovisual piece that reimagines the stories that live inside “$20”, “Emily I’m Sorry” and “True Blue”, three tracks that served as an introduction to the new future that Phoebe, Lucy and Julien have crafted.

The band will tour North America with the support of Carly Rae Jepsen, Bartees Strange, Claud, Broken Social Scene and Illuminati Hoties.
