After the latest incidents she had with her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears following the release of the actress’ memoir, singer Britney will apparently be hard at work telling her life story. Fans of the superstar are eager to read a book that is valued at over $15 million.
The pop superstar signed a book deal with publisher Simon & Schuster for the creation of an “eye-opening” memoir that will put a whole new spin on the situation she experienced during her father’s guardianship. The truth is that this news comes just 3 months after a California judge put an end to the parental control exercised for 13 years.
There is a great expectation about Britney’s future book. The singer has spoken openly about her estrangement from her family since the legal settlement ended and has criticized the void her mother and sister created for her at that stage. Even so, she is still embroiled in legal battles with her father, who has demanded payment of her fees despite all that has happened.
The “Toxic” singer has sparked a controversy in the states about possible abuses in the conservatorship system. Britney wants to get much more involved and help all the people who may be in her past situation to advocate for those people. “Hopefully, my story will make an impact and make some changes in the corrupt system” she said via Instagram.
Spears even revealed last week that she was invited to meet with the U.S. Congress to share her story. A very special moment for her and her fans. She later lovingly posted that she “felt heard and like I mattered for the first time in my life.”
