On November 20, the world soccer competition kicked off.
With this, in its inauguration there were different performances to welcome the competition, which this year has brought many problems and has caused special controversy given the ethical principles of the country where it takes place, Qatar, which has been pointed out as a place of contempt towards women, the LGTBIQ+ collective and immigrants, which caused many artists to deny the invitation to participate in the event, as is the case of Dua Lipa.

One such performance was by Jungkook. The youngest member of BTS performed solo in front of thousands of people. However, her performance has brought some harsh comments and criticism given her participation in an event judged as lacking in human rights. In addition, the artist’s performance may have generated various accusations from non-governmental associations that support rights movements.

With this, the South Korean artist held a performance at the Al Bayt stadium in which he presented his new single “Dreamers”, a song developed specifically for the sports competition and that will be part of the soundtrack of the 2022 World Cup, along with others such as the collaboration of Maluma and Nicki Minaj, “Tukoh Taka”.

The artist’s single was released a few hours before his performance with 41-year-old Qatari singer and Grammy nominee Fahad Al-Kubaisi.

With this, despite the fact that the artist is receiving a lot of criticism through social networks, the ARMYs have not hesitated to defend the artist.
