“Thor: Love and Thunder” is one of the most successful films of the Norse God franchise and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), garnering positive reviews from fans, and laying the groundwork for the next installments of the other Avengers
The film also introduces new concepts and characters, such as Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) as the new wielder of the Mjolnir, and strengthens characters such as Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson).
However, what seemed to be the last installment of the King of Asgard will be just one more, as the film’s end credits read “Thor will return”, leading to another film.
The announcement of a new installment came as a surprise to the entire cast, including director Taika Waititi, who in addition to “Love and Thunder” was also responsible for “Ragnarok”.
Speaking to Insider, the director said the announcement was unexpected. “Well, guess what? That was also a surprise for me,” he said when asked about the fifth part of the saga.
Waititi, 46, specified that he is willing to film a new sequel, but for this there must be some preconditions, but the main one is the presence of Chris Hemsworth.
Part of this adventure can be seen in the promotional trailers that came out a couple of months ago, which revealed a peculiar scene where Thor is shown wrapped in a mess, with his arms pinned down and totally naked.
Although only a couple of seconds of the backside of the God of Thunder are shown, it was enough for internet users to unleash memes on social networks.
