Also nominated in the Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series category were Ozarkes Tom Pelphrey and Succession stars Adrien Brody, James Cromwell, Arian Moayed and Alexander Skarsgard. This marks Domingo’s first Emmy nomination and win.
“Sam Levinson and I had some very deep conversations last weekend,” Colman said when asked about Euphoria Season 3, which was renewed on HBO Max in February. “He talks about all the character arcs and what he wants to do to expand that, to revisit it sometimes. It’s an organism, and he wants me to keep changing it in a lot of ways, and I think he’s going to do that.” take some really big changes, actually, with Season 3″.
Domingo went on to talk about showrunner and series creator Levinson: “He’s someone who, once there’s an expectation of the show, he wants to break that expectation because he really is an accomplished artist, and he wants to make sure he tells a really compelling story. And just because we’ve had some successes before with this season, he said, ‘Let’s not rely on that. Let’s move forward. I’m going to dig deeper with these characters. I’m really going to peel back the layers and just get to the human heart.'”
The actor also plays complicated con man Victor Strand on AMC’s. Fear the Walking Dead, which is currently filming its eighth season with a cast that includes Lennie James and Kim Dickens. Domingo has served as a producer on the Walking Dead spin-off series since season 7 and has launched his own Strand-centric show on AMC Networks. Euphoria is currently airing on HBO Max.
