Week 4 was the best so far in the picks. 12-4 straight, 8-6-2 against the line, finishing with three weeks of .500 in the picks. It could have been much better, but something happened that is a lesson that cannot be forgotten: a half point can make a difference.
So far, 23 games (17.9%) have been decided by three points or fewer and 31 (24.2%) have been decided by six or fewer, the most in NFL history after the first four weeks of a season. Last week, in 15 of 16 games (93.8 percent) there was no difference of more than 8 points on the scoreboard at any point in the fourth quarter.
It’s anyone’s guess what the Dallas Cowboys will do when Dak Prescott is back, but for now it is Cooper Rush who is getting ready to face the champion Rams, in the main game this afternoon. Jerry Jones (Cowboys) reported Tuesday that his starting quarterback, Prescott , isn’t ready yet because he can’t handle the ball well. Prescott broke the thumb of his right hand in the first game of the season.
Going through the rest of the games, today we have the San Diego Chargers against the Cleveland Browns. The Jacksonville Jaguars will face the Houston Texans and the Minnesota Vikings will face the Chicago Bears in the U.S. Bank Stadium.
