Like a phoenix, Demi Lovato has reemerged, musically speaking, to bring with her 16 new songs and several collaborations that will be released on August 19th on her new album titled HOLY FVCK.
Demi Lovato’s musical career will soon enter a completely different era from anything seen so far. Or at least that is what the artist has transmitted in every step that has led to the elaboration of HOLY FVCK. Everything points to the fact that she is planning a comeback in style.
The last months of the artist’s life have been of continuous evolution and change, and HOLY FVCK is committed to a more rock style. The album will become her eighth studio project and in addition to the change in musical style, it also brings with it a new image change. Short hair, darker colors and a more aggressive and transgressive look are the fundamental elements of the new Demi.
Skin of my teeth is the latest single that was released last June 10th, being this the last preview of HOLY FVCK. The song shows the ambition that the artist has wanted to mark in her album, with a rock style that is actually quite related to her musical roots. The style is similar in the previous hits to this one: Substance, Happy Ending and City of Angels.
In addition, we can count on several collaborations within the album. In Freak, the artist shares a song with Yungblud, in Eat Me she collaborates with Royal and The Serpent and finally in Help me she has the famous Los Angeles rock band Dead Sara.
The artist herself has confirmed that the process of creating the album has been a satisfying experience in which she has traveled to rediscover herself in a quest for liberation and personal security. Now all that remains is the premiere of the album so that we can enjoy Demi Lovato’s music once again.
