Kim Jones, the head creative designer at Dior Men, have one characteristic in all he do and that is the way he curate the pieces for each collection. Rather than putting every idea on every project, he just find the true gems and make a selection out of them (this process is not follow by his partner at the company, Maria Grazia Chiuri, and that is why her collections lack cohesion or novelty). The English fashion designer for this capsule collection created some basics following a theme and making it with good quality.
The Dior Jardin Capsule Collection for Men is about one of the passions of Christian Dior, the flowers and nature above all. In every garments we can see structure that are made to use in the everyday and in specific in different trips into nature that we are going to do this fall. All the prints are made and selected by the team under Kim Jones control, due to the lack of collaboration in this capsule (a weird thing coming from the designer, or he learned the lesson with Travis Scott).
Some of the favorites of the market for a mens wardrobe in the period between season might be here. Cool sweater, t-shirts and hoodies are presented with the Dior logo on it. Casual wear and lounge wear is the common theme of the collection, too. Utility after all, but always with the sneakerhead market in mind. There are two major color scheme in which the pieces come in: the blue/black one and the pink/white one, depending on your preferences you can choose. You need to wear something when you are not working nor partying so this is the perfect opportunity to buy some clothing.
