Netflix has released the third season of a series that has been quite popular on Netflix, yes, it’s Emily in Paris. The season premiered on the platform on December 21, 2022. Netflix subscribers were delighted with season one of the show, where they met Emily Cooper, navigating her marketing job, and having a complicated love life and friendship in Paris. In December 2020, the streaming platform released season two ahead of Christmas 2021.
Before we get into season three, Emily in Paris is a romantic comedy series created by Darren Star. The show is set and filmed in Paris, where we meet our main character Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) an American college graduate with a Master’s degree in communication in her late twenties from Chicago, who moves to France to provide an American point of view to Savoir, a French marketing firm. Culture clashes as she adjusts to the challenge of life in Paris while juggling her career, new friendships, and active love life.
Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger, and fans kept wondering what happened to the main character. With Madeline (Kate Walsh) and Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) coming to blows at the end of season 2, Sylvie decides to leave Savoir and make a rival firm, where she asks Emily to join her at the new firm. The promotional images for this new season revealed Emily stayed in Paris rather than joining Sylvie in her new adventure in Chicago.
As for the other characters, Gabrielle (Lucas Bravo) and Camille (Camille Razat) are back together and are now neighbors of Emily. All this drama is expected to be similar to the previous seasons, and fans cannot wait to get into the new season.

As for its critical reception, the season received a 50% out of 100% on the web aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, based on 6 reviews, with an average rating of 4.7/10. On the other hand, Metacritic gave Emily in Paris a score of 53% out of 100% with 9 reviews
Many people wonder if this will be the last season of Emily in Paris, yet Netflix announced that not only season 3 would come to our screens, but so would season 4, but there is no information about it, but it will surely be as fun as the first three seasons.
