Max Verstappen won his third race this current season of F1. The Dutch driver has won every Grand Prix that he cold completed (on Australia and Saudi Arabia had to leave because of car problems). Also, he won another duel to Charles Leclerc on Miami GP 2022. The podium was completed by the Spanish driver Carlos Sainz, with an amazing defense against “Checo” Perez on the last laps.

It has been an exciting race at the beginning and in the end of the Grand Prix. On the middle (between lap 10 to 40 more less) the race was very calm and with few overtakes and accidents. Max Verstappen started as soon as he could the attack to Charles Leclerc. He has advanced to Leclerc just on the lap 9 and he could achieve had this advantage on the next laps until the end. He also had the “help” of a safety car to win the race at Miami.

Despite of the Leclerc attacks with DRS and without it, Verstappen has kept his composure and won his twenty third victory on Formula 1 to be closer on the F1 ranking respect to Leclerc. On the other hand, Sainz defended very well against a “Checo” that came with younger tyres. He achieved his third podium of this current season, very good new for the Spanish driver, that is still on the fight with the French and the Dutch.

The rest of the drivers were with hard tyres and they have been benefited because of the safety car. George Rusell or Esteban Ocon (with 0 stops until the safety car) have taken advantage of this opportunity to comeback. Both of them were ahead their teammates. Hamilton one position behind George and Alonso could not have points due to 2 sanctions.

The race has started with a clean release by the drivers. Ferrari and Red Bull have turned out well and Leclerc made the first curve of the Grand Prix with absolute comfort. Max has passed Sainz very easily and got the second place.

Behind, Pierre Gasly has been sixth. But probably the best one was by Fernando Alonso. He won four positions to place seventh. The Asturian driver also passed Hamilton (eighth place at the beginning). Further back, Aston Martin drivers have been out from the Pit-Lane and Esteban Ocon was seventeenth.

Pierre Gasly had an accident on the lap 41 and all changed. With 11 laps to end the GP, all drivers were again very near between them. Leclerc tried (with DRS open) to pass Verstappen but the current champion has defended the position very well.
