The transfer market is open and a lot of teams are doing changes on their squads. Luis Castillo, one of the best players of the league and initial objective for Yankees, went to Seattle Mariners. So now, New York Yankees are looking to other side and they are very interested on the Dominican player of 29 years old: Francellis “Frankie” Montas from Oakland Athletics, who has been sought after by many teams of the league.
After the signing of Castillo was official the last Friday, the correspondent of MLB Network Jon Heyman said that Montas had become one of the players that the team of New York want to sign in the next weeks.
Heyman said that Yankees also wants to sign the left-handed Colombian Jose Quintana, if they can´t buy Montas. On Friday, Heyman also wrote an article for the New York Post that states that Noah Syndergaard from the Los Angeles Angels is also on the list of Yankees.
