Genesis, Hyundai’s luxury company, has revealed some information about the second generation model of its G90 sedan. The first generation was launched in 2017. The brand has designed to reveal the price of the different models and some information about the engine and the powertrain of this car.
The brand has claimed that the G90 will have a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. This will be the G90 3.5T AWD and will come with a suite of standard features including a panoramic sunroof, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, and power sunshades for the rear passengers. This standard model will be priced in $89,495.
The automaker will offer another version that comes with a 48-volt hybrid system that adds an electric supercharger that boosts the V-6’s output to 409 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. In addition, it comes with extra content like an air suspension, rear-wheel steering, power cooled and massaging rear seats, and 21-inch wheels. This version will be more expensive and will be priced in $99,795.
This G90’s second generation will be more expensive than the first. For example, the 2022 G90 that are still from the first generation, are priced in $76,045, and with some extra things it could be $79,795, so this second generation is expected to be better from the automaker.
At the moment, this is all the information that the brand has said. For sure, like they did with the first generation, each year the model will be improved, but they have only revealed the information of the car that they will be launching in 2023. Maybe those improvements will depend on the mistakes that will be found when this model is proved by the owners. The company has claimed that they expect to make the deliveries in one year, by the middle of August 2023.
