We all fell in love with that cold and mysterious yet daring Cayetana in Élite or the spectacular Fátima, daughter of Zulema in Vis a Vis. Each and every character that Georgina Amorós has played has been worthy of admiration and applause. Her ability to play very different characters is incredible and, without a doubt, she is one of the best emerging actresses of the current Spanish film scene.
Georgina Amorós is a young actress who has participated in multiple series in Spain that have been a worldwide success. She was born in Barcelona on April 30, 1998, so she is a very young actress with a bright future ahead of her.
She started acting very early in small productions that, little by little, made her become the actress she is today. It was her grandfather who gave her the acting bug and, at only 4 years old, she began her artistic career, which she combined with her ballet training and her studies.
At the age of 17, she moved to Los Angeles where she studied film and drama. During that time studying film with people who were also passionate about the industry, she was able to learn a lot and realize that each person must have their own voice to tell their own stories.
Her incredible language skills, along with her acting skills, have established Amorós as one of the most sought-after actresses in Spain, although her priority is to make art and immerse herself in projects that she really enjoys. Besides, for her, awards are not the most important thing, although if they come, of course she receives them with great joy.
All these qualities have made her part of productions such as Velvet, Bajo sospecha, Águila Roja, Benviguts a la familia or, as we mentioned before, Élite and Vis a Vis. But, as if that were not enough, she has also been part of the film Rifkin’s Festival of the stunning producer Woody Allen, an experience she will never forget.
With only 23 years old, her interpretative registers are as different as surprising and range from the daughter of a dangerous assassin to a troubled and dreamy schoolgirl, or even an intriguing and sensual young woman, whom she brings to life this year in Código Emperador, a new thriller with Luis Tosar and Arón Piper.
As a result of the premiere of this film, on March 18, we had the pleasure of talking to her. Georgina told us some curiosities about the shooting of the film and also explained how she feels on the red carpets. She commented that she likes to try to have a good time on the red carpets and create a character with clothes that she would not wear in her day-to-day life.
And this woman is good at everything. We have also been able to enjoy her talents in the theater in performances such as La gaviota o los hijos or Comedia Sin Título. Similarly, we must not forget Georgina’s more social and vindictive side that, on numerous occasions, has given voice to social causes such as feminism or the fight against LGBT+ discrimination. Likewise, and, as a curiosity, she is a vegetarian so her love for animals and her vindication goes far beyond.
