After the presentation of Cosmogony some weeks ago, the Resort 2023 of Gucci, we did not expect as much from their participation in the Milan Fashion Week because the fashion show was so extensive and conceptualized that for sure it was going to be more relaxed. But it was not at all, Alessandro Michelle had a showroom of a capsule collection in collaboration with no more no less than Harry Styles, one of the ambassadors of the brand since the beginning of the actual creative director. The presentation was held at a vintage store, a common theme in the aesthetic of both artists and creatives, the way they view and reinterpret the past into the present without feeling old or boring. A vintage way of living was installed in the fashion world after Alessandro Michelle show his first collection and this is the culmination of it.
Both personalities flow so well together and are expressed in every piece of the collection. As we can see, English tailoring is mixed with fun prints and it results so natural. After all this years seeing the aesthetic of the designer growing as well as his friendship with the English singer, this garments felt right like we were waiting all our life for them.
A lot of details are put into this selection of clothing that mixed both styles so well. Gucci HA HA HA is the name of the project and it resulted as it is the most used words in their personal chats between the creatives. Sometimes is expressed in this onomatopoeic sound and other in just an emoji, but it translate perfectly the good vibes that both of them have for each other. Also they are the initials of both artists. In conclusion, is a celebration of friendship and how you can connect in different levels with the same person. As it was, Gucci still remains one of the hottest brands in the game for all this projects that establish a special connection with the Gen Z.
