2022 is only getting worse for model Hailey Bieber, who now has an ovarian cyst.
Hailey Bieber has spent a year full of health problems, both, her own and her husband, singer Justin Bieber, ones. At only 25 years old, the owner of a brand of facial care products suffered a stroke in March. Soon after her husband, due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome, had a facial paralysis. Now Hailey has just told a new problem: she has an ovarian cyst of the size of an apple.
Starting with the stroke, the model explained a couple of months ago that it was caused by a blood clot that did not allow oxygen to reach the brain. Luckily, she quickly realized that her symptoms coincided with a stroke and as she rushed to the hospital she did not suffer any irreparable problem. This clot was formed because of a Covid sequel (another health problem) in addition to taking over-the-counter contraceptive pills. She herself decided to start taking this pills as a measure to control the appearance of cysts in the ovary. Unfortunately instead of helping her, these pills have caused her several horrible moments in her life.
The model has decided to post on her Instagram account this medical problem after new rumors about that she could be expecting a child from Justin due to the lump in her belly. To put an end to the gossip this Monday, she uploaded a photo of herself showing her abdomen swollen by the ovarian cyst.
Hailey explained through this image, where she has her shirt up, that this is a serious problem. “I don’t have endometriosis or PCOS, but I have gotten an ovarian cysts a few times and It is never fun” she said. In the same post besides writing that she is not pregnant (although many of her fans are waiting for that moment), she added that “It is painful and achey and makes me feel nauseous and bloated and cramps and emotional”.
An ovarian cyst is a fluid-filled sac that develops inside or over the ovary with no possibility of preventing its appearance. Normally, these cysts usually disappear without taking any medication and without producing even pain, but other times a treatment is necessary to make them disappear. There are different types of cysts, but the most common ones are the so-called functional cysts that appear due to changes in the menstrual cycle and that leave within a few days, without having to be removed, as is the case with Hailey’s.
The businesswoman, in addition to ending the rumors of pregnancy, has wanted to show through its publication on Instagram that her situation is common in women who are on childbearing age and that although it is painful, is not alarming.
