On the song, “Can’t get enough” the singer, Jennifer López, does some references to her sentimental life the past 20 years
“Can’t get enough” is an English pop song with upbeat sounds. It’s a project really similar to what JLo got us used to, but that promises to be a hit like some of her songs that already triumphed.
This piece is an advance of her upcoming album called “This is me…now” which is expected to be released next month. This album will be her first complete project in 10 years and will be formed by 13 songs.
On the lyrics of the song, produced by Rogét Chahayed, Angel López, Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman & Hit-Boy, we can read some provocative and sensual verses like “You got the keys to turn me on and on. You got me accelerated”.
The song was released in all platforms accompanied by a music video on YouTube. The visual piece arrived last January 10 with a viewer’s party on the red platform and is directed by the popular Music Video Director Dave Mayers.
On the video JLo, the Bronx queen, appear dressed with two wedding dress in a provocative attitude. The “Ain’t your mama” singer jokes and references her dating life the last 20 years and make fun of all her four marriages, from her first wedding to Ojani Noa to her reconciliation and marriage to the love of her life, Ben Affleck.
On the music video, she recreates 4 weddings, with four different men. We can see the different most special parts of a wedding but as a parody, complemented by comments from guests and voice-overs from the artist herself that add a comical touch to the music video.
For example, you can see the nuptial dance, when they cut the cake or when the bride throws the flowers to the guests. There are also three friends that keep commenting about the weddings like “I told you she couldn’t be alone” or “I liked it better the other one”. Another funny scenes was a girl stealing the cutlery or, when JLo throws the flowers, commenting that the bouquet is cursed.
This funny video ends up with a scene of a more serious Jennifer listening to some bad comments about her on a relationship life. This might be pointing out what her following song may sound like and the theme of it.
Now we have to wait until February 16 to listen to what Jennifer López has been working on and follow her through the process of returning to the music industry and open herself to her fans and her public.
