Jesse Eisenberg will play Bigfoot in his next project with no lines of dialogue, “just grunts”.

The actor is very excited about the project, which will keep him quiet for the entire filming.

Although he once made headlines around the world as one of the best actors of his generation thanks to his role as Mark Zuckerberg in the film The Social Network, the truth is that Jesse Eisenberg’s career has always been full of somewhat questionable decisions for his own good.

No need to talk about roles like the one in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman in which he played a bald Lex Luthor that ended up irritating fans? Nevertheless, the actor seems to have a lot of fun with his work and isn’t afraid to take on some rather complicated roles like the one he’s about to play in the upcoming Zeller brothers’ film.

“I play a Bigfoot, with full make-up, hair all over my body and no dialogue. I grunt but I have no dialogue. I can’t wait to play this role,” Eisenberg himself acknowledged amusedly in an interview with Variety during the Sarajevo Film Festival where the actor presented his new film as a director.

Entitled When You Finish Saving the World, the film is a bittersweet intergenerational satire that depicts the difficulties and nuances of living by today’s activism. “Unconsciously I’ve always wanted to direct a film but I don’t think I ever said it out loud because it seemed cliché,” the actor confessed

One of Eisenberg’s main concerns in directing the film was giving bad advice to his actors, an experience he has lived through during his career. “I’ve received so much bad advice in my life as an actor that I was unnecessarily afraid to give it to my protagonists,” he said.

For this directorial and screenwriting debut, Eisenberg has enlisted actress Julianne Moore as well as Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things, but no release date is currently scheduled.
