The Swiss company Jet ZeroEmission with the help of Zenith Marine and DWYN will fabricate this hydroplane that will be called Jet. This vehicle will be zero emissions, and will be used for the first time during the COP28 UAE climatic conference at the end of November 2022, that will be made in Dubai.
This boat will be propelled by hydrogen and will be equipped with two hydrogen combustible cells that will fuel the electric engines making it a noiseless and zero emissions boat. The novelty is the unique design, it will looks like it is flying over the water, it is expected to rise 80 centimetres over the water. And it will be a faster boat, it will achieve 40 knots.
Jet will have a capacity for between 6 and 8 passengers and will be in the most luxurious places in the world. This plan has been designed by the renowned navigator Alain Thébault, the designer of the L’Hydroptère, the boat that achieve the navigation speed world record in 2009. This project will have a budget of 11.5 million $.
This plan has been made for the sustainable mobility, something that we are seeing in all the industries in the world. This Swiss company is planning this type of mobility for all their projects, they are focused in the reduction of the polluting gasses trying to reduce the global warming, and they are using the hydrogen to get it. That something that we have to adapt to, it is something that is needed to save the planet, and the hydrogen is of the best combustible that we can use to reduce the emissions, and keeping the entertainment with this new vehicles that have been fabricated and move us closer to the future and make some crazy things in reality.
