Through out the whole path that Jil Sander, the brand, has walk until arrived where is positioned at this moment it has been quite an irregular time. A lot of up and downs happened in the 2000s, but since Luke and Lucie Meier came to gave it all in the design part of the company, the brand has had a good time and quite profitable really. Even though the time that Raf Simons stayed as the creative director was the moment of more expansion in the international fashion market. The current designers established the brand as one to look out for purity and elegance in all its pieces, a part  of the iconic DNA of which the garments that Jil Sander, the designer, produced in the 90s and that became so popular.

The Jil Sander Resort 2023 Menswear is a collection where the spirit of confronting new situations with bravery is the center point for the designers newest mens release. They also talked about the inspiration that Luke felt in the West Coast when he was growing, because the freedom was one of the pilars in that American society.

The garments are a mix between sartorial and suiting options, always with the purity of silhouettes and structures that the brand carries in its DNA. The colors are subtle but in some terms they are expanding the color scheme at the brand, due to the demand from the public of risky colors or ones that stand out more. The selection of prints were natural ones doing emphasis in floral stuff due to the freedom that plants have through out his span of life. The majority of the garments can be part of an everyday wardrobe of a lot of people whom preoccupations are not fashion and relies in essentials. After pandemic season is the perfect collection to get into fashion again, because is born out after going around freedom and nature.
