The Canadian singer reappears on social media after his facial paralysis
A few months ago Justin Bieber announced through his Instagram account that due to the Ramsay Hunt Syndrome he suffered half of his face got paralyzed. The singer uploaded a video in which he shows his followers that he could not control an eye and his smile. “It is because of this virus that attacks the nerve of my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis” he said. “As you can see this eye does not blink. I can’t smile on this side of my face; this nostril is not moving. So there is complete paralysis on this side of my face…”, continued.
A few days later he released a statement announcing the cancellation of some of his concerts from the world tour he was performing at the time. After a while he tried to get back on stage but the illness made it difficult, so he finally decided to postpone all the concerts of the Justice World Tour. Unfortunately for his fans, known worldwide as Beliebers, this past February they received one of the worst news they could hear, the tour at the end has been suspended. The singer has not made any official statement but the promoters of each city are already returning the ticket money to his followers.
During this time Justin has been practically disappeared from social networks. He had just posted a few photos before he went up for his birthday. Luckily the Canadian is back. This week he posted through the stories of his Instagram account a video in which he could be seen smiling happily. This has been his way of showing the world that he has already overcome facial paralysis and can control his face again. On the screen you could see Bieber’s face in the foreground as he zoomed in on him slowly until he finally smiled. At the top of the video you could see written “Wait for it”, referring to what it showed at the end of this, although some of his followers think it may mean something else. The smile of the interpreter of Peaches had not been seen since June 2022, when he suffered the attack.
Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a rare painful rash that arises around the ear, in the mouth or on the face in general. Facial paralysis occurs when the varicella-zoster virus infects a nerve in the head. If someone has these symptoms they have to go to the doctor to get treatment as soon as possible to remedy the disease because if it can not bring even worse consequences.
