The EP With YOU-th Was Released On February 23
For the first time in their career, the South Korean girl group TWICE rise to the first spot of the Billboard 200 chart. With YOU-th, released on February 23, is the thirteenth extended play (EP) by the band. It contains six tracks, including the group’s third original English-language single “I Got You” and the lead single “One Spark”. “This album is a collection of things that represent our youth, the friendship and special bond that glues together nine of us”, Chaeyoung, member of Twice, told Reuters.
In 2015, during Sixteen, a reality-TV competition, the nine members of TWICE met for the first time. South Korean labels, including JYP Entertainment, have a habit of putting together the groups they will sign, and many use shows like this one to find individual members. This is how Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu will rise to stardom.
