The artist Katy Perry is back on everyone’s lips.
After a live performance in which it was observed how the “Roar” interpreter had eye problems, the artist is back in the media after revealing that she rejected a collaboration for a while with the 21-year-old Californian, Billie Eilish, who was starting in the music industry.
Katy has revealed this information during an interview in Los Angeles, telling what happened and showing regret for it. Thus, Perry tells in front of some of her followers that someone from her team “sent me an e-mail once that said: ‘hey, look at this new artist, I’d really like us to work with her’, because (Billie) was working with me on several demos… There was a song called Ocean Eyes and it was just a blonde girl and I was like ‘meh, boring (…) Big mistake. Huge mistake.”
It is worth mentioning that the rejected collaboration was written by Billie’s brother, and it is precisely the single that would lead the young musical star to stardom, and is that with only 13 years old the single “Ocean Eyes” was published on Soundcloud. This would be the third publication of the artist, and after the success achieved on the Youtube platform, the song would be published on Spotify, where in just one year it managed to accumulate more than two million reproductions and would lead her to get her first record contract with Interscope Records, who after several publications would achieve a high position in the musical world, until reaching in September 2018 her first award, a platinum record.
Thus, the refusal of the 38-year-old artist, Katy Perry, towards Billie Eilish has become popular after a video posted on Tik Tok, becoming viral Katy’s regret.
