Under the artistic direction of Nigo, Japanese brand KENZO launched the third installment of a series of limited-edition capsule collections for spring/summer 2022 at the end of March. Available in stores from April, this proposal is the most complete since Nigo took his current position at the helm of the luxury brand in 2021.
This capsule collection revolves, as is evident at a glance, around denim. A key element in Nigo’s design tradition, Japanese denim is fused with KENZO’s boke flower, created by the Artistic Director upon his arrival at the Maison, in reinterpreted pieces with an urban and casual style. A collection of eight pieces for women and seven for men, all of them genderless.
As harbingers of a reinvigorated KENZO, the Spring/Summer 2022 capsule collections embody the philosophy at the core of Nigo’s practice at the Maison: a true wardrobe for the future, linked to the wisdom of the past.
