Lamborghini is working in a hybrid vehicle in their plan called “Direzione Cor Tauri”, a plan presented by the Italian automaker some months ago where they explained their plan to the electrification. In this plan, they planned to make a hybrid for 2023, the first hybrid of the company, and have an all-electric by 2025. The first step of this plan was to pay tribute to the fuel cars, as they had made with some models. Then, the electrification of the company is the second step.
This has been predicted because they have registered in the European Patent Office the name of “Lamborghini Revuelto” (“mixed up” in English), so it leads to a hybrid vehicle, keeping in mind the date of the electrification plan too. Also, this patent has been presented to the part of the European Patent Office in charge of the hybrid vehicles, so all leads go to this type of vehicle.
This information has not been confirmed, another point of view for this name is that this car can be a hybrid of two different models of the Italian company, for example, mixed up an Aventador with a Urus. Until this information is confirmed, we will not know this with precision.
It looks like it is going to be a hybrid, because of the date of their electrification plan and because other luxury automakers, like Ferrari, have their hybrids car, and Lamborghini wants to be on this market. All the companies are making their hybrids first to make all-electrics cars then, the luxuries included. We have to keep an eye to the next Lamborghini’s announcements, because the specialist think that they are going to announce this sooner than later, so the fans of the Italian luxury automaker have not to wait too much time until have a hybrid to select.
