The Lamborghini Huracán has eight years old, but the Italian automaker has shown a new version of this vehicle more street oriented, that is going to be launched in 2023, the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica. It has a new design with new aerodynamic functionality that stretches the super sports car by a hair over 2.4 inches. This car can be considered a STO car, because it offers most of the STO experience, and is more powerful than the rear-wheel drive Huracán Evo.
In the design, it has a massive rear glass panel in the new carbon fiber engine, and it is covered by a familiar 5.2-liter V-10 engine tuned like the STO used to be. This afford send the 630 horsepower and 417 lb ft of torque through the rear wheels only. The Tecnica listed weight-to-power ratio of 2.15 kg/CV only marginally trails the STO’s 2.09 kg/CV, with a dry weight of 1,379 kg, or 3,040 lbs.
In the front, the sports version has a new facial signature, with the Y-shaped “Ypsilon” Lamborghini design language, that was introduced by the Terzo Millennio concept car. It has a newly-engineered air curtain not found on any previous Huracán pulling in air through lower intakes housed under the familiar Huracán headlights. In the profile of the car, we can see the Terzo Millennio too, there are bits from other recent Lamborghini show cars, new glass cutline leading to the rear intakes has been tweaked over a normal Huracán.
The interior can be customized and tweaked, and the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica gets from 0 to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds, versus 2.8 for the STO, with a top speed of 202 mph. But the fans have to wait one more year until see this new vehicle out.
