On late December Les Benjamins were invited to host an exclusive pop-up at Miami’s Webster for Art Basel 2021
Lifting inspiration from Les Benjamins’ Spring/Summer 2022 collection—entitled “The Mystic Journey”, the pop-up become an amazing and exotic Marrakesh’s Majorelle Garden. As it is well known for being an Istanbul-based lifestyle brand, the chosen theme was not a surprise but it was the way it mixed essences from Miami with Asian culture. Citing the gardens’ perception and belief to cleanse the mind and spirit (during pandemic lockdown), Les Benjamins’ creative director Beniamin Aydin centered the collection on the rich soothing color palette of the gardens: intense electric blue, pastel green, brownish-red and camel as well as on landscapes and monuments that resemble both places. Architect Dong Ping Wong, from studio Food New York, was the men in charge of designing the pop-up based on that idea.
During the pop-up from December 2nd to December 12th, a limited-edition 100% silk capsule collection was released. For those who couldn’t make it then, the collection of jersey t-shirts, bucket hats, swimwear among other items, designed by Neill Raitt, are now available at the Webster Los Angeles and New York following the pop-up.
