Since the world came to a standstill because of the pandemic, many of us were forced to work at home. The kitchen or our living rooms became the new offices and it was this idea that Martine Rose took for its fall/winter 2022 collection.
Drawing a surreal reality where conference calls are answered from bed or you ask your boss for a raise while still wearing your pajamas, Martine claimed to create: “Fun clothes for boredom, cozy clothes for recovery, comfortable clothes for anxiety and TV marathons”.
The brand combined elegant tailoring with unconventional silhouettes, creating a uniform perfect for everyday wear. Suits paired with square-toed loafers, tracksuits with dress shirts and sweatpants with a tie and blazer. Basically, breaking the traditional boundaries.
