- Tell us about a hobby you have
I like watching horror movies and the great masterpieces of cinema, I adore Robin Williams and I have seen all his films. I enjoy going to the beach with friends in the summer. Unfortunately I don’t have enough free time available because I spend a lot of time working on the set away from home. As soon as possible I go wild at the disco.
- What music can’t be missing in your playlist?
I really like music and I never leave my air pods. I mostly listen to rap/trap music, but also reggaeton. I particularly like Emis Killa.
- Could you tell us about a funny anecdote during a shooting?
Well, maybe that time we were shooting on the beach here in Sardinia. We were very focused on making the best photos with the most interesting backgrounds. Beautiful beaches and a wonderful sea. Once the work was done, we returned and were very satisfied. But the next day we looked carefully at the photos: in the background of almost all of them, completely naked people appeared in the distance! We had taken in front of a nudist beach! We laughed like crazy thinking about what would happen to publish them, but then we had to do it all over again!
- What is a typical day off like for you when you’re not filming or rehearsing?
I go to school in the morning and in the afternoon I have to do my homework or prepare questions. I am in the third year of Human Sciences High School and it is not easy to reconcile study with my work. Then I just want to go out with friends, go dancing and even meet girls when it’s possible.
- Do you have any hidden talents that we may not know about?
I’m good at riding motorcycles and quads, but above all I’ve been swimming since I was three years old and I also did competitions as a child. I’ve played football and I’m a pretty capable striker. Everything in sport as you can see.
- Can you tell us about a personal challenge you have overcome that is not related to your acting career?
For me, as I said, it is really difficult to do well in school, because very often I have to be absent from home and school for many consecutive months. In any case, having always managed to be promoted is a difficult goal that I set for myself and which, so far, I have managed to achieve.
- What would people be surprised to know about your daily life as an actor?
It seems that most people think that being an actor is great fun: the driver who picks you up at the hotel and takes you to the set, the scenes to shoot with ease, everything going smoothly and living the good life! The reality is that you get up at dawn without even being able to have a decent breakfast, it usually takes a long time to reach the set and things almost never go smoothly: there are always setbacks and unnerving waits. Very little time to eat and a lot of stress. When, eight hours later, you finish up and go back to your hotel (which isn’t your home), you just want to sleep, knowing that tomorrow will be the same! But, despite everything, I would never change my life for another and I consider myself very lucky.
- What concert would you like to go to?
I just bought the ticket for the Maleskin concert and I got it for my mother too. It’s a surprise for her, I haven’t told her anything yet, but she will be delighted! We don’t have much time to be together and it will be a good opportunity to share a strong emotion.
- Do you practice any sports or physical activity to keep fit?
Well, I’m a lover of sport and competition in general. I also like boxing and I even had a fight this spring in Rome. I won on points.
- Is there an actor or actress you dream of working with someday?
I really admire Leo DiCaprio. It would be great to play his son in an adventure film, perhaps set in the wild west or in Chicago in the roaring twenties! Well, come on, dreaming is free, you might as well do it big!
