After the success achieved with the single “Flowers“, a preview of what is the eighth studio album by the American artist Miley Cyrus, the full album is finally here, with twelve more songs that has become numer 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in a very short time.
“Flowers” has broken a record as the fastest song to reach 500 million plays on Spotify in history. With this, on 10 March the artist finally unveiled the album, “Endless Summer Vacation“, a title that has also been given to a mini-serie premiering on Disney+ where the artist can be seen performing some of the songs on the album.
It is an album that the artist explains as “a love letter to Los Angeles”. With that, Cyrus has mentioned that the album “is a sequence that I divided into two parts: AM and PM, to represent almost like an act. The AM for me represents the morning time, where there’s a buzz and an energy and there’s a potential for new possibilities. It is the new day. And in the evening it feels like there’s a slinky, seedy and kind of grime, but a glamour at the same time (…). In Los Angeles there’s a certain energy at night that you can feel the problems come to the surface, and it’s very inspiring to me”.
With that, the artist has explained that this is only the first part of her release, and her fans, who were already happy with this little part, can’t wait to meet the second one.
