Once again Supreme and Stone Island are collaborating, but this time we have a new face behind the creation of it. Tremaine Emory was selected as the new creative director for Supreme at the first months of this year provoking an elevation in quality of ideas behind very drop since then and also very different from what the brand was doing before. He is a very well-known figure in the streetwear world and adds to this section of the fashion industry stories about the African-American culture. Carlo Rivetti, founder and creative director of Stone Island, is gaining from this collab the power of the taste and provoking feeling of all the clothes that Emory makes. I just want to add that the work that the new member of Supreme rewrite with everything he does the rules of high-fashion to lifestyle, inspiring fans and making new ones all over the world.

The released of this collab can confused a whole lot of people in the industry, because why on Earth you want to come out with outerwear in May? And the simple answer is that no matter what it comes out from a collaboration of this magnitude is going to sell out. The hype behind Supreme is imparable and more since the addition of the new creative. It will make you sweat at the moment, but after all the items are streetwear and wardrobe essentials.

The cultural zeitgeist of streetwear has come at his fullest when the black community is represented in the high-fashion spheres. Apart from this, it is also important to highlight some of the pieces in the capsule collection like the reversible faux fur parka that is a must for people that enjoy a good Stone Island piece, due to the use of the highest technology of the brand in this garment. The real impact of this drop is going to be in fall at the resell market, we would see how it goes.
