Samsung has launched their newer Monitor to pre-order, the M8. This monitor were shown at the CES trade show in Las Vegas during the earlier 2022. This monitor comes with a lot of features, including speakers and a webcam, alongside the crisp 4K resolution.
Samsung’s Smart Monitor M8 is a 60Hz, 32-inch, 4K display. With its size, the monitor packs a 3,840 x 2,160 UHD resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio, and the display supports HDR10 that allow to get a good look at any challenging dynamic ranges. The company has told that they are “proud to say that the model is 75% slimmer than the previous iterations, so it’ll fit nicely into your desk aesthetics”. It is available in four different colours: white, pink, green, and blue. A curious thing is that a lot of people are looking the monitor so similar, and that is because it seems to 2021 iMac refresh.
Obviously, as a Smart TV, it comes with some apps download, like Netflix, Youtube, Apple TV o Samsung TV Plus. And it includes the Smart Things, where the owner can be able to control the Samsung smart home devices directly from the display. Samsung has packed two built-in speakers and a tweet into this display. For those voice commands, the monitor features a far-field microphone. And for the Zoom calls, the owner can look crispy with the detachable SlimFit Cam. It’s a full-HD camera with face-tracking and zoom (not the app) capabilities. On the back of the monitor, it brings a micro HDMI port and two USB-C ports. And inside the monitor they have packed Wi-Fi 5, AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless connectivity.
The brand has not said anything about the date this monitor will be on their customers, but is not expected to be so late. This monitor can be pre-order from Samsung directly for $699.99, and the coloured version will run for an extra $30 at $729.99.
