Both singers, Scottish and Irish, have been seen as great friends in public and have shared photos of various moments in private in which their affection can be appreciated.
So much so that both Capaldi and Horan are known to have met in a studio on several occasions to compose different collaborations.
However, despite fans eagerly awaiting the collaboration, Niall announced in an interview with the Daily Star that the songs they have written Will probably not be realesed, and the Irishman believes that “they are not good enough”, and that neither of them think the result is too good.
The former One Direction member mentions that “There was one night we went into the studio and wrote a couple of songs. Clearly they weren’t very good because otherwise we would have heard them by now”.
With that, Niall clarifies that they need more time to perfect the singles, while fans hope to hear their voices together again after the collaboration to cover U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I Looking For”.
