The Diwali is one of the most important celebrations in India. Due to the nationality of Priyanka Chopra it could not pass this day unnoticed for the Jonas family.
In January of this year the couple composed by Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra announced the arrival of their daughter, Malti Marie, who was born thanks to surrogacy. Unfortunately the girl had to stay more than three months in the hospital after birth due to health problems, so the couple could not present their daughter until May.
For the actress her native country is very important and although she no longer lives there she always finds time to celebrate the festivities of India in family. This time they have gathered to celebrate the Diwali, which is a celebration of 5 days in which to welcome the new Hindu year. In addition this year has added an important thing to the holiday, it is the first time they celebrate being parents.
Nick Jonas’ wife posted in a story on her instagram account a photograph in which she is shown with her husband and daughter Malti sitting on the floor celebrating the Hindu holiday. Behind the singer it is also possible to see in the photo his mother-in-law. It is a very beautiful and familiar photo that has touched everyone, but what is striking is that the whole family is dressed up with matching outfits.
In the images that Nick Jonas has publish in his instagram account you can see better the clothes that each of them were wearing. Priyanka wore a traditional Hindu costume consisting of wide trousers and a veiled cape, known as a Sari. The member of the Jonas Brothers also used a traditional Indian garment known as a Kurta. It is a tunic worn there by men for important celebrations. Although Malti is only a few months old, her parents have dressed her in a tailor-made dress for her in bone tones, just like them.
The couple still wants to keep their daughter’s privacy so Malti appears in all the photos with a heart covered face or turned around. Yet you can see that the girl is already fully recovered from her health problems.
Both, the singer and the actress used their Instagram posts to write messages full of love, peace and prosperity for all those who celebrate Diwali. Nick accompanied his photos with another nice message: “A beautiful celebration of Diwali with my loves. Happy Diwali to all. Sending joy and light to all of you”.
Their followers are looking forward to a new holiday to celebrate so they can see more images of the whole family together.
