Oscar Isaac is currently one of the revelation artists. His multiple appearances on the big screen have already granted him different awards in the world of acting such as the Golden Globe. However, the actor has been a trend in his last premiere thanks to an unexpected look that has certainly caused a sensation.
Oscar Isaac wore a skirt to a special screening of Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight this week at the British Museum in London. The actor chosen to play Marvel’s next superhero stepped out on the red carpet in a pleated skirt paired with a matching gray flannel blazer, white oxford shirt, black 4-bar socks and pebble grain boots.
This style from the actor did not go unnoticed and quickly went viral. Instead of a simple tuxedo, Isaac opted for the skirt courtesy of Thom Browne, a designer from whom the actor has chosen the complete piece. Both the blazer, an Oxford shirt, black socks and classic black leather boots with laces are also part of this masterpiece of the American designer.
Even Marvel Studios’ own account on instagram commented on the attire of those who will be one of its star actors. “What an Oscar Isaac style,” said the company’s account. A way to vindicate the use of skirts by men, as this other comment says: “Real men wear kilts”.
The actor was accompanied by his Moon Knight co-stars, May Calamawy and Ethan Hawke, at the screening. During the Berlin screening he wore another pleated model of the New York brand Commission with a leather jacket and a graphic print T-shirt. Isaac has shown that he not only has a good performance but also has a unique as well as vindictive style.
