BTS, or Bangtan Sonyeondan in Korean, is one of the most famous bands worldwide. The K-Pop group has managed to break records and position itself at the top worldwide. Little by little and without realizing it, this musical and lifestyle has been introduced in the international music scene, topping the different music charts around the world, starring in movie soundtracks or being the image of globalized brands such as McDonalds or Samsung.
More and more people are consuming this type of music and are interested in the whole culture of South Korea. BTS has helped this musical style to spread all over the world and has even achieved two Grammy nominations.
After last year’s concerts, the singers are back with their Permission To Dance On Stage tour. This time, RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook have opted for their country and will perform on March 10, 12 and 13 at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. This is the latest series of the world tour headlined by the 21st century pop icons, featuring powerful performances and top hits from throughout their incredible career. Their previous Los Angeles shows were seen by around 813,000 people in their four sold-out shows, making it one of the most successful shows of 2021.
However, these new concerts have a wonderful plot twist. ARMYs, as the band’s fans are called, will be able to see the concert on the 12th live in most cinemas around the world.
As they comment in the synopsis of the event, “BTS Permission To Dance On Stage – Seoul‘, a performance for BTS and ARMY to dance together live. Join us as BTS and ARMY become one again with music and dance in this unmissable live concert experience, broadcast from Seoul to theaters around the world!”.
Ticket sales to see the concert were a huge success and fans sold out them in just a few hours. Although, in some countries, days before the sale was set to open on February 22, tickets were already available. This unleashed chaos among the ARMYs who rushed to get them and, with such bad luck, many of them were left without them.
What is clear is that this is a unique experience and for sure their fans are going to live and feel it with a lot of emphasis and emotion.
