Who Are You People depicts Alex and her parents in Portland so far apart that they don’t even really know each other. Finding her father seems like the only way for her to find out who she is, but when she meets Karl, she would rather have a father who will take care of her and give her advice than find out why they never met, until now. When her parents find out she’s been sneaking up to meet him behind his back, it only deepens the rift between them and pushes her toward Karl the only one who will protect her. As Alex learns the truth about her father and processes the truth about herself, she will inevitably have these face-to-face conversations.
