Season 7 of the American teen-drama television series Riverdale was renewed on March 22, 2022. It will also be the final season of the series and will air on March 29, 2023. It will be the end of Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, and Jughead Jones who are the main characters of the series based on Archie Comics. Riverdale Season 7 goes where Riverdale hasn’t been before, traveling to the 1950s, Jughead Jones (Sprouse) finds himself back in the 1950s. He doesn’t know how he got there, or how to get back to the present. His friends can’t help because they live seemingly real lives, like their peers in the classic Archie comics, unaware that they’ve been anywhere other than the 1950s. The main characters of the series are Archie Andrews (Apa) the quintessential all-American teenager growing up, struggling and learning life lessons; Betty Cooper (Reinhart) the girl-next-door who begins to question everything about her perfect life including her controlling mother, Alice (Amico); Veronica Lodge (Mendes), a Hollywood star who has mysteriously moved to Riverdale.
