Rolex is one of the most important watches brands, and they have announced a new collection in Geneva during the Watches & Wonders trade show in the Italian city. This collection includes five different watches.
The first watch is a new version of the GMT-Master, one of the most iconic watch in the brand. Rolex launched some years ago four colours of this model, but now, they have included one more colour, a combination of green and black. This clock is a destro, which is watch jargon for left-handed. The crown and the date window have both been flipped to the left side of the case. Practical for lefties and great for the rest of us looking for a more distinctive case layout.
The second one were hyped by Rolex, they made a teaser that vowed “to move skyward”. This watch is an Air-King, which includes a small stuff. Rolex said that “Part of the dial’s refreshed look is a new “balance” of the numerals”. It is a little detail versions of these numbers with loops that didn’t fully close.
The third one is the Day-Date 40, a Rolex that the brand had said “epitomised prestige”. Is the first time that this model is available in platinum with a frosty blue dial, and it is also a fluted bezel in platinum first too, and they have claimed that “platinum is the most prestigious metal available”.
The fourth is a new Yacht-Master, which Rolex has said that “this watch takes inspiration from the aurora borealis”. This suppose the Yacht-Master comeback in white gold, something that Rolex has not made since 2019.
The last one is a new version of Datejusts. The 2022 version of this mode recreate blooming flowers, with diamonds standing in as the pistils. The navy-dial version comes with a standard fluted bezel, but the fun really starts on the olive-green and silver models, which have bezels set with 46 brilliant-cut diamonds.
