The Spanish singer appears in her first talk show. The promotion of her new work called ‘Motomami’ and some anecdotes with Harry Styles conquered the presenter and got the laughter of a devoted audience. Rosalia is in full promotion of her album and she did not hesitate to grant a first interview and go to the ‘late night The Tonight show’ of Jimmy Fallon.
The artist was totally natural and showed her most extroverted side when she tried to explain the meaning of ‘Motomami’. To clarify the doubts of all the viewers, Rosalía said that “motomami is an energy… Maybe you are a motopapi”, she joked with Jimmy Fallon. The well-known comedian declared himself an “absolute fan of Rosalía” and commented directly to the singer: “you have kind of destroyed out there, in the market”, referring to the singer’s novel musical style.
However, the highlight was the anecdote that happened to Rosalía with Harry Styles and that left everyone impressed. Apparently, Rosalía tends to change her phone number frequently according to her in order to “change energy and start from scratch from time to time”.
The singer told the presenter that Harry Styles wrote her a message thinking she was Rosalia when in fact she wrote to one of her previous numbers, which was now held by someone else. The presenter was stunned when he read the conversation that the former One Direction member sent to the Spanish singer via Instagram. In the end it was all a confusion as the person who had Rosalía’s previous number replied to Harry saying: “Hahaha, sorry, you’re wrong, I don’t know who you are. This phone belonged to someone else before and it’s my number now. So, don’t bother me anymore. Good night, thank you.”
Rosalía left everyone open-mouthed when she told this anecdote. But the artist also surprised with a dress from the fall-winter 2022 collection of Acne Studios. The dress was combined with wool boots, quite striking and rarely seen before. It is clear that Rosalía is one of the most consolidated artists in music and thanks to her personality she triumphed on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘late night The Tonight show’.
