Rosalía knows how to focus all eyes on her and how to become the topic of conversation on social media. We are getting closer and closer to the release of her new album Motomami, which will be released on March 18. And this new album has given a lot to talk about and, apparently, will continue to be the focus of all eyes for a long time.
At the beginning of February, he released Saoko, which, along with La Fama, a bachata in collaboration with The Weeknd, have become the first songs of this new album. But these are not the only songs we have been able to listen to.
A few weeks ago, Rosalía posted a video on TikTok in which she sang a fragment of Hentai, whose lyrics caused a lot of commotion in social media. Likewise, a few days ago, also on TikTok, we were able to enjoy some lines from Chicken Teriyaki, which most Twitter users have described as a set of misplaced words. Criticism and negative comments have rained down on the singer.
Internet users believe that this album is very different and that it’s not up to the level of El Mal Querer, which they consider a true work of art. On this occasion, the Catalan singer has opted for reggaeaton, but always including the flamenco sounds that characterize her. The singer has picked in this album for Asian vibes combined with biker touches that we can see both on the album cover and in Saoko’s video clip.
These advances aren’t the only thing that have made Rosalía the protagonist of all the conversations, but her last change of look has also made people talk. She has opted for red and has left behind her natural-colored mane that we were used to. We have been able to see this change in her last publication both on Instagram and Twitter but, we don’t know if it’s a wig or that she has really dyed her hair.
In this post we can also see her with two daring and groundbreaking outfits that could belong to the Chicken Teriyaki video clip. This has been assumed by fans after the stories that the artist had uploaded with one of the outfits next to two stickers of Asian chopsticks and a typical fast-food box.
The post on Instagram has already reached more than 2.1 million likes and more than 7,000 comments, most of them applauding Rosalía’s change and praising her in every possible way.
