The singer is looking forward to starting a new tour
It has been seven years since Selena Gómez gave the last concert on the occasion of a world tour. Her last one was in 2016 and she did not manage to act in all the cities that were planned because of the disease she suffers. The American had to cancel the final part of the Revival Tour, in which the European part was, due to having health problems because of the Lupus.
Since then her followers are looking forward to seeing their favorite singer live again. What none expected is that after so long this dream may come true very soon. It is clear that Selena is in one of the best moments of her career both musical and acting.
After the release of Revival in October 2015 the former Disney girl has worked on her first all-Spanish album, Revelación, although she did not go on tour to promote it. She has also released different songs along with other singers such as Calm Down with Rema. As for the world of acting, Gómez has starred in two seasons of the series Only murders in the building, of which she is also a producer. At the end of last year she released a documentary on her mental health, My mind and me.
Recently the idea of her third studio album is floating around social networks and is creating a lot of expectation. Lately the performer of Come & get it has been giving clues about that she is working on it and has even told for Vanity Fair that “The music I’m doing right now is about real things that I’m walking through. It’s really powerful, strong, very pop. The theme generally is freedom-freedom from relationships, freedom from the darkness.”. However, there are still no details about the first single, nor the tracklist, much less the release date.
Despite this, what they clearly did not expect and has surprised their fans has been that Selena has commented on an Instagram post about her upcoming tour. The actress is eager to start with it although she is not sure when she can. She thinks that maybe the most advisable thing is to wait a little longer. Still in the comment she added a question to her followers about whether she should start this year or leave it for the next.
